Code of Ethics & Compliance

The Code of Ethics & Compliance describes Panasonic’s core values and Basic Business Philosophy, provides guidance on how to implement the Code in our business operations, and emphasizes the company’s commitment to respecting human dignity and employee rights.

The Panasonic Group Code of Ethics and Compliance applies to all employees of Panasonic Group’s subsidiaries, including Panasonic Avionics Corporation and employees of their subsidiaries (e.g., AeroMobile, Tactel), on a worldwide basis.

Ethics and Compliance – Our Foundation

Panasonic Avionics Corporation’s presence in several countries in the world requires strict adherence to international laws, including U.S. anti-corruption and anti-trust laws, as well as those in other countries where we do business.

Anti-corruption practices are an essential component of our compliance program, especially given that we operate globally and under many different conditions.

All employees are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards of business integrity. Each must comply with all applicable laws and accurately record and track all business transactions.

All employees and Business Partners are prohibited from making payments to or engaging in transactions with, government officials to influence the performance of their official duties improperly.

Employees are subject to disciplinary action, including termination, for violations of our policies. Employees regularly receive training on our code of conduct, anti-corruption policy, anti-trust policy, export controls policy, etc. These general training sessions, in addition to more comprehensive training given to relevant functions on a more frequent basis, are an ongoing condition of employment.

We reinforce our commitment to ethics and high standards of business conduct with the expectation that all employees will report suspected violations of laws and company policies.
